Dildo Dildo
Some of the earlier material from the 1930's was rubber. Dildos from this era had a large metal coil inside it so that it was firm yet flexible. The problem with this is that rubber get hard as it ages and then cracks. When these old dildos cracked the springs would jut out. Not a pleasant experience having a dildo hat had metal jutting out of it. I am sure that there were many lacerated vaginas back in the 30's.
Silicone is a more recent material for dildos. My research has it coming into fruition in the 90's. This material is really good du to the fact that you can clean it very easily. It can be sterilized and this is very import for hygienic purposes. Another interesting concept with a silicone dildo is that it is a very good material more the vibration. It vibrates better than rubber. So you get the full vibration and a quality vibration throughout your sexual indulgence.
Chrome is a popular material for dildos. There seems to be a draw toward the S and M groups with chrome dildos. Chrome dildos are also really hard and some ladies like this. The other benefit to chrome is how smooth it is. You have very little friction with a dab of lub.
The newest material that is hot on the market is glass dildos. Typically the material for this dildo is made from Pyrex. These are very hygienic as they are not porous. The one special feature with a glass dildo is that it can hit the g-spot real easy because it is so ridgd. I really like the fact that you get some nice funky designs and guys really like the visual of the glass. It give you a transparent visual that is supposed to be a big turn on. I have one word to say that men enjoy….VISUALS.
The last material is Cyberskin. This is a synthetic material feels just like real skin. Kind of freak but it does. You can get it with veins too which is the closet dildo that you will get to the real thing, if that is your thing!
