Dildo Dildo

First of all where does the word dildo come from? What does it mean? Our research tells us that. The oxford says that the words comes from and obscure origin. There are several theories out there. There is some link to sailing, yes sailing. There is a tool that inserts into a hole that is shaped like a dildo and its function is to stop a boat’s oar from releasing. Some people say that because the tool looks like a dildo and it gets inserted in a hole that this is were the name comes from. Another possibility is that the name comes from a town called Dildo. Rather strange name don't you think. It would be funny saying my name is dick from dildo.  The story is that the word could come from the town’s name, but I don't find anything really backing that theory. One other theory that to me seems to make more sense is the Italian word for delight is "diletto". I am sure you would agree that a dildo is delightful.

Dildos have been traced back 2500 years ago. There is evidence that dildos were used in Egypt and Greece back in the 5th century. Drawings of woman using dildos have been found. There is some speculation that objects were found that are 30000 years old that seem to fit the shape and size of a dildo. No one is confirming this as it cold have been batons or other working objects. I on the other hand like to believe that prehistoric man used dildos. I like to think sex sex sex. The oldest known dildo is a 8 inch found in a cave in Germany.

So what were our forefathers or foremothers using as dildos? What materials were they made from? The never had latex or silicon with a nice dab of strawberry flavored lubrication. So what was there little love holes forced to consume? Imagine a tar dildo or how about a large stone dildo massaging your soft tender parts. A sound really rough doesn't it. The women in the "old days" were rough as nails. They must have had strong vaginas that could handle all types of rough sex. What about now lube. So you have this stone dildo, now lube and one very horny woman. This combination does not sound appealing does it.

We certainly have progressed forward. Dildos are no longer found in caves, they are found in drawers and closets. They are no longer made of wood or stone but latex or silicon. They are no longer used by large strong rough vaginas but tender little moist love holes. Thanks goodness times have changed.
